Doru Kha

Backstory

Doru Kha was born and raised in Kugane.

Coming from a third generation working class family, he lost all roots with The Steppes and strove to live the high-life of modern society in his youth.

Knowing he didn't want to end up as a street merchant like his father, he leaned into the underbelly of Kugane looking for work.

One night at a bar, Doru met a wandering Ronin down on his luck. After a few rounds, they struck a deal to trade sword lessons for booze.

Doru didn't receive the best training from his sloshed Sensei but he learned how to fight raging drunks.

Spending his early adulthood navigating the potential ways of making gil in Kugane, Doru became multifaceted from the different jobs he would pickup.

Everything from working security to pouring drinks, he became known for his inquisitive but respectful demeanor as he delved deeper into the nightlife scene.

His calm and charismatic nature opened doors to the right connections, giving him access to low-level syndicate contracts. Typically escorting deliveries and guarding high profile cargo ships in port.

Eventually the trust and dedication he built lead to him doing the same thing but for people. Escorting Dignitaries and guarding VIP's at clubs, mostly being used as a status symbol and good company.
